FIRST AMENDMENT TO LEASE AGRE . EMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND
THE SANTA ANA Ct-fAPTER, IZAAK WALTON
LEAGUE OF AMERICA, INC.
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT, made and entered into this day of
1986, by and between the CITY OF SANTA ANA, a public body, corporate and
politic, hereinafter referred to as LESSOR and the SANTA ANA CHAPTER, IZAAK
WALTON LEAGUE OF AMERICA, INC., hereinafter referred to as LESSEE.
W I T N E S S E T H
A. LESSEE entered into a Lease Agreement dated August 21, 1961, with
LESSOR by which LESSEE hired those certain premises located north of Seventeenth
Street and west of Alona Street.
B. The parties now desire to renew and extend said LEASE on a month -to -
month tenancy commencing September 1, 1986.
WHEREFORE, for and in consideration of their mutual covenants and promises
set forth in the said Lease Agreement, and subject to all the terms, conditions,
limitations and other provisions set forth herein, the parties hereto do agree
and amend said Lease as follows:
1. The Lease is hereby renewed and extended for an additional period on a
month -to -month tenancy commencing September 1, 1986.
2. Either LESSOR and LESSEE shall have the right to terminate this Lease,
for any reason, upon thirty (30) days prior written notice to the other party.
Except as amended as set forth hereinabove, all. of the provisions of the
said Lease shall remain in full force and effect®
IN WITNESS WHEJ:1,EOF, LESSOR and LESSEE have executed this Amendment to Lease
Agreement the day and year first above written.
