HomeMy WebLinkAbout61-113RESOLUTION NO. 61-113 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION WHEREAS, JAMES ~, DAVIS .~d VELDA ~. DAV~ have presented to the City a deed dated April 24, 1961, conveying an easement for street purposes on the North side of Bolsa Avenue, East of Verano Street, in consideration of the payment of $1,906.50. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow Number 45739-F with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa And, California; and WHEREAS, JIM DOAN and FRANCES T. DOAN have presented to the City a deed dated April 18, 1961, conveying an easement for drainage purposes on the South side of Sugar Avenue, West of Harbor Boulevard, in consideration of the payment of $2,225.88. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow Number 46132-F with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa And, California; and WHEREAS, .C... A~ RANNEY and LILLIE M. RANNEy have presented to the City a deed dated April 22, 1961, conveying easements for street/~ purposes on the East and West sides of Berrydale Street, North of the Santa Ana River, in consideration of the payment of $3,768.00. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow Number 46135-F With Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and WHEREAS, ~d_ ~MARy~ LARR_!SON have presented to the deed dated April 20, 1961, conveying a certain parcel of real/~, City a property for street purposes on Fairview Street, on the South sade of the Santa Aha River, in consideration of the payment of $10,200.00. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow Number 46136-F with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Aha, California; and WH s, have presented to the City a deed dated April 20, 1961, conveying an easement for street purposes on the Southwest corner of Seventeenth Street and Berrydale Street, in consideration of the payment of $7,250.00. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow Number 46151-F with Security Title Insurance Cc~pany, Santa And, California; -1- WSERE S, .EN G OVE SC OOr. DXSTRXCT OF O NGE coum has presented to the City a deed conveying a parcel of real property described as: westerly 141.31 eet of that portion of the Northwest quarter of Section 16, Township 5 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M., described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of Tract No. 2905. as shown on a map recorded in Book 128, Pages 45 and 46 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; h and running thence North 00° 41' 00" West along the Northerly prolongation of the East line of said Tract No. 2905 a distance of 594.63 feet; thence North 89° 30' 35" East 141.31 feet; thence South 00° 41' 00" East 660.92 feet; thence South 89~ 30' 35" West 141.31 feet to a point in the East lane of said Tract No. 2905, thence North 00° 41' 00" West 66.29 feet to the point of beginning, in consideration of the payment of $24,075.00. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 390967-jl with the Orange County Title Company, Santa Aha, California. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED= That the City of Santa Ana accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of May, 1961.
