CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, ORANGE COUNTY LAW BUILDING has presented to the City
a deed dated April 14, 1961, conveying an easement for street purposes
over the following: /~l:&,,,/(~
The Easterly 10 feet of Lot 8, Block B, and the Westerly 10 feet
of the West 95 feet of Lot 14, Block "A", Santa Ana Investment
Co. Tract No. 2, Hathaway's Addition to Santa Ana, as per map
thereof recorded in Book 11, at page 56, of Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County, California;
and
WHEREAS, THE SANTA ANA VALLEY'IRRIGATION COMPANY nas presented/';']
to the City a quitclaim deed dated April 7, 1961, quitclaiming an ease-
ment to construct, maintain and operate a pipe line for the conveyance
of water West fr~n King Street to the Santa Aha River at Eighth Street;
and
WHEREAS, all of said deedsare without cash consideration being
paid to said grantors by the City.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa/accepts
said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is
directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of May, 1961.
