CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, REscINDING RESOLUTION
NO. 61-108 FAVORING ACQUISITION OF CONTROL OF THE
WESTERN PACIFIC BAILROAD COMPANY BY THE ATCHISON,
TOPEKA AND THE SANTA FE BAILWAY COMPANY AND~ OPPOSING
SUCH CONTROL BY SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California,
at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of April, 1961, passed
and adopted Resolution No. 61-108 favoring a~quisition of control of
the Western pacific Railroad Company by the Atchison, Topeka and the
Santa Fe Railway Company and opposing such control by Southern
Pacific Company; and
WHEREAS, after further study and consideration said City Council
of the City of Santa Ana has decided to rescind said Resolution No.
61-108.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Resolution No. 61-108 is
hereby rescinded.
