SELECTING AND DECLARING CERTAIN PROPOSED THOROUGHFARES TO BB ADDITIONS
TO IHE MAJOR CITY STREET SYSTEM OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, AND REQUEST-
ING THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, TO APPROVE
SAID SELECTION AND DECLARATION.
B~ IT RESOLVED: That the following described portions of thoroughfares are
hereby selected~ approved and declared to be additions to amd part of the
CITY STREET SYSTEM of Santa Ana, California, as provided for in SECTIONS 2050
through 2055, and in Section 195 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State
of California!
(1) Fairview Street - Fifth Street to North City Limits at Trask Avenue.
(2) Fairview Street - Segerstrom Avenue to South City Limits (~O0'+_South
of Segerstrom Avenue).
(3) Fairview Street - South City Limits at Pacific Electric Railroad
right of way to Talbert Avenue (New alignment).
(4) Talbert Avenue - (New alignment) Harbor Boulevard to Greenville Street.
Verano Street - South City Limits (210'North of Edinger) to North City
Limits at Westminster Boulevard.
Eighth Street - Fairview Avenue (King Street) to Broadway.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That theDepartment of Public Works of the State of
California is hereby requested to approve the selectiOn ond declaration of additions
to the present system of Major City Streets of the City of Santa Aha, California.
PASSD AND ADOF~E~ by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular
meeting held on the 5t~ day of Ju~e., 1961.
