CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, GERTRUDE ROWLAND, as EXECUTRIX OF THE ESTATE OF
JOHN FREDRICK AVAS, also known as Fred Avas, has presented to the
City a deed dated June 2, 1961, conveying an easement for drainage
purposes North of Smeltzer Avenue, West of Newhope Street, in con-
sideration of the payment of $1,122.00. Said transaction is to be
handled through Escrow No. 46174-F with the Security Title Insurance
Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, BILL J. DEDMON and ANNIE L. DEDMON have presented
to the City a deed dated June 13, 1961, granting a parcel of real
property on the North side of Edinger Avenue, East of Maple Street,
in consideration of the payment of $13,700.00. Said transaction is
to be handled through Escrow No. 46334-C with the Security Title
Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, GEORGE ~..__BOXBER~R_~.and BEVERLY J. BO~Q~ have
presented to the City a deed dated June 1, 1961, conveying a parcel
of real property on proposed Fairview Street, West of Tenth Street,
in consideration of the payment of $17,500.00 and a Quitclaim Deed
from said City to said Grantors for an adjoining parcel of real
property. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 46268-C
with the Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE~: 'I91at the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
