INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF ST. ANDREW PLACE
BETWEEN STANDARD AVENUE AND THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC
RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed requesting the vacation
of that portion of St. Andrew Place herein described, and after
study, the City Council has determined that said street is unneces-
sary for present or future street purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby
adopts the map attached hereto, orders the same be filed with the
original of this Resolution in the office of the Clerk of the Council
and reference is hereby made to said map for particulars and exact
location of the right of way proposed to be vacated.
The City Council declares its intention to proceed with this
street vacation under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of
1941 (Sections 8300 through 8374 of the California Streets and High-
ways Code), to vacate that portion of St. Andrew Place in the City
of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as:
PARCEL 1: A strip of land 60 feet in width and being
30 feet on each side of the following described line:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot D of Tract
Number 696 as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 20,
Pages 45 and 46, Miscellaneous Maps, Reoords of Orange
County, California and running thence from said point of
beginning South 89° 22' East along the North line of
said Lot D 570.00 feet to the Northeast corner of said
Lot D.
PARCEL 2: A spandrel shaped parcel of land bounded
Southerly by the North line of Parcel 1; bounded Westerly
by the East line of Standard Avenue as shown on said map
of Tract Number 696 and bounded Northeasterly by the arc
of a curve concave Northeasterly having a radius of 20
feet and tangent to said Southerly and Westerly boundaries.
PARCEL 3: A spandrel shaped parcel of land bounded
Northerly by the South line of Parcel 1; bounded Westerly
by the East line of Standard Avenue as shown on said map
of Tract Number 696 and bounded Southeasterly by the arc
of a curve concave Southeasterly having a radius of 20
feet and tangent to said Northerly and Westerly boundaries.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That August 7, 1961, at the hour of
7:30 P.M. in the Council Chamber, City Hall, Third and Main Streets,

Santa Ana, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place for
hearing all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed
street vacation.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of July, 1961.
