City Council met in adjourned regular session.
Meeting c~lled to order by the Clerk.
Presentl Trustees
Absent: Trustees
William Jerome, J.L.McBride,
Orson H. Hunter, Milford W. Dahl.
Courtney R. Chandler.
On motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Jerome and
carried, Trustee Dahl was appointed Mayor Pro-Tem in
the absence of Mayor Chandler.

seconded by McBride and carried, the
following Resolution entitledl
"Resolution authorizing and directing the City
Clerk to advertise for bids for the widening
and construction of South Main Street, from
Anahurst Place to McFadden Street, East side
only, in the City of Santa Ana, and fixing the
prevailing wage rate"
was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 53-29 and passed by the

On motion -of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Jerome and carried,
the plans
and specifications for the construction of a sewer on King Street
between Fifteenth Street and Washington Avenue were approved and the
City Engineer was instructed to proceed with the construction upon the

Library survey
payment of estimated cost by the abutting property owners.
Communication was read from Mrs.- Catherine W. Quick, Clerk, Santa Aha
Public Library advising that the final reports from Kroeger and
Associates on the recent library survey have been received and request-.
tng that ,an appointment be made available for representatives of the
Library Board in order to submit the findings and analysis of the
report. On motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Jerome and carried,
the Administrator was instructed to make an appointment, through
Mrs. Quick for Monday afternoon March 16th, 1953.
