HomeMy WebLinkAbout61-192RESOLUTION NO. 61-192 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION WHEREAS, heretofore, the City of Santa Aha entered into an Escrow at the Orange County Title Company, Number 390820-LFM, for the purchase of certain real property and deposited in said escrow the agreed purchase price; and WHEREAS, ANTONE and ANNA A. BORCHARD have presented to the City two deeds, each dated June 19, 1961; the first conveying real property/~/~ in the City of Santa Aha described as: All that certain land situated in the State of California, County of Orange, City of Santa Ana, described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot 7, of the Williams Tract, as shown on a map recorded in Book 30, Page 14 of Deeds, Records of Los Angeles County, California, and running thence South 88° 53' 40" West along the North line of said Lot 7 a distance of 40.00 feet to the true point of beginning; thence South 88° 53' 40" West along said North line 1381.13 feet; thence North 01° 03' 20" West 772.20 feet to the North line of Lot 8 in said Williams Tract; thence North 88° 50' 03" East along said North line of Lot 8 a distance of 1381.13 feet; thence South 01° 03' 20" East 773.66 feet to the true point of beginning. Containing 24.50 acres more or less. and the second conveying three parcels of real property for street right of way described as: Parcel 1 That portion of the following described property vested in the grantor herein. A strip of land 20 feet in width the Westerly line of which is 20 feet Westerly, measured at right angles, from the following described line: Commencing at a point on the survey center line of Talbert Avenue North 88° 44' 40" East 2009.98 feet from the intersection of the center lines of Talbert Avenue and Old Fairview Road, and running thence North 01° 00' 20" West 2130.91 feet to the South line of Lot 9 of the Williams Tract, as shown on a map recorded in Book 30, Page 14 of Deeds, Records of Los Angeles County, California, said Lot 9 also being shown on a map filed in Book 34, Page 4 of Record of Surveys, in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California, and to the true point of beginning; thence North 01° 00' 20" West 719.35 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Easterly having a radius of 1000.00 feet; thence Northeasterly along the arc of said curve 300 feet, more or less, to the North line of said Lot 9, said 20 foot strip being bounded Southerly by the South line of said Lot 9. Parcel 2 A strip of land 40.00 feet in width the center line of which is described as follows: Commencing at the true point of beginning as described in Parcel 1 and running thence South -1- 01° 00' 20" East 771.60 feet to the South line of Lot 8 in said Williams Tract, said 40.00 foot strip being bounded Northerly and Southerly by the Northerly and Southerly lines respectively of said Lot 8. Parcel 3 A strip of land 20.00 feet in width the South line of which is the South line of said Lot 8, said 20.00 foot strip being bounded Westerly by the Easterly line of Parcel 2, and being bounded Easterly by the Westerly line of Parcel 1. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City accepts said deeds and authorizes Carl J. Thornton to execute such acceptance from the face of said deeds as the officer of the City thereunto duly authorized.
