HomeMy WebLinkAbout61-193RESOLUTION NO. 61-193 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION WHEREAS, ALBERT BRUNING and BLANCHE BRUNING have presented ~o ~e City a deed dated July 18, 1961, conveying vehicular access rights on the West side of Fairview Street, North of First Street; and /~ WHEREAS, JESSE OJEDA and LILLIAN M. OJEDA have presented to the City a deed dated July 17, 1961, conveying vehicular access rights on the South side of Seventeenth Street, West of Mabury Street; and /~ WHEREAS, JAMES HOLMES and FLORA HOLMES have presented to the City a deed dated February 3, 1961, conveying an easement for street/~/ purposes on the North side of Sugar Avenue, East of Newhope Street; and WHEREAS, JAMES HOLMES and FLORA HOLMES have presented to the City a deed dated February 3, 1961, conveying an easement for drain- age purposes on the North side of Sugar Avenue, East of Newhope Street; and WHEREAS, VERA COLE has presented to the City a deed dated February 3, 1961, conveying easements for drainage purposes running/~ Northerly from Sugar Avenue,aPProximately 660 feet East of Newhope Street,for approximately 1200 feet and Easterly approximately 300 feet; and WHEREAS, VERA COLE has presented to the City a deed dated an easement for street purposes on the/~~ February 3, 1961, conveying North side of Sugar Avenue, East of Newhope Street; and WHEREAS, A. J. PADELFORD AND SON, a Partnersh~, has presented to the City a deed dated June 26, 1961, conveying an easement for /~/ ~ street purposes on the South side of Warner Avenue, East of Halladay Street, also granting vehicular access rights to Warner Avenue; and -1- WHEREAS, K. W. RANNEY, MARJORIE L. RANNE~ and HUMPHRIES INVESTMENTS, INCORPORATED, a California corporation, have presented to the City a quitclaim deed dated February 3, 1961, quitclaiming an easement for street purposes on the North side of Sugar Avenue, East of Newhope Street; and WHEREAS, K. W. RANNEY, MARJORIE L. RANNEY, and HUMPHRIES INVESTMENTS, INCORPORATED, a California corporation, have presented to the City a quitclaim deed dated February 3, 1961, quitclaiming an easement for street purposes on the North side of Sugar Avenue, East of Newh~pe Street; and WHEREAS, K. W. RANNEY, MARJORIE L. RANNEY, and HUMPHRIES INVESTMENTS, INCORPORATED, a California corporation, have presented /~/~ to the City a quitclaim deed dated February 3, 1961, quitclaiming an easement for drainage purposes on the North side of Sugar Avenue, East of Newhope Street; and WHEREAS, K. W. RANNEY, MARJORIE L. RANNEY, and HUMPHRIES INVESTMENTS, INCORPORATED, a California corporation, have presented ]J~i/ to the City a quitclaim deed dated February 3, 1961, quitclaiming easements for drainage purposes Northerly from Sugar Avenue, East of Newhope Street, for approximately 1200 feet and Easterly approximately 300 feet; and WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration being paid to said grantors by the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
