THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, THE LEHNHARDT CORPORATION has presented to the City
a deed dated August 11, 1961, conveying a non-exclusive easement for
water line purposes North of Smeltzer Avenue, East of Verano Street;
and
WHEREAS, APOSTOLIC JESUS NAME CHURCH, a corporation, has
presented to the City a deed dated August 17, 1961, conveying an /~
easement for street purposes on the North side of Sugar Avenue, West
of Newhope Street; and
WHEREAS, APOSTOLIC JESUS NAME CHURCH, a corporation, has
presented to the City a deed dated August 17, 1961, conveying a /~
temporary easement for the construction of a storm drain on the North
side of Sugar Avenue, West of Newhope Street; and
WHEREAS, APOSTOLIC JESUS NAME CHURCH, a corporation, has
presented to the City a deed dated August 17, 1961, conveying an
easement for drainage purposes on the North side of Sugar Avenue, West
of Newhope Street; and
WHEREAS, PACIFIC ELECTRIC RAILWAY COMPANY, a California
corporation, has presented to the City an Indenture~dated June 26,
1961, granting to the City the right to construct, reconstruct,
maintain and operate a sewer line across Pacific Electric Railway
property between the Southerly extensions of Garnsey and Birch Streets;
and
WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration being
paid to said grantors by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
