HomeMy WebLinkAbout61-218RESOLUTION NO. 61-218 URGING THE LOCATION OF THE ANGELS' BASEBALL CLUB IN ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA WHEREAS, there has been continued interest in the location of the Angels' Baseball Club in the County of Orange, the fastest growing county in the State of California; and WHEREAS, it is believed that the population growth of said County has reached a point at which it will support a professional baseball club, and many organizations are urging the owners of the Angels' Baseball Club to select Orange County as a new club home. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Aha does hereby officially invite the owners of the Angels' Baseball Club to thoroughly investigate Orange County, its past population growth and the predictions for growth during the next decade, and to consider said County with its ideal climate and constantly increasing population for location of said Club.
