THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, THE AMERICAN LUTHERAN CHURCH, A Corporation, Not
for Profit, has presented to the City a deed dated September 28,
1961, conveying an easement for water main purposes on the North
side of Sugar Avenue, West of Verano Street; and
WHEREAS, THE BENDIX CORPORATION, formerly BENDIX AVIATION
CORPORATION, a Delaware Corporation, has presented to the City a
deed dated September 12, 1961, conveying an easement for ingress
and egress over the Northeast corner of McFadden and Grand Avenues;
and
WHEREAS, BEN N. RAMOS and CUNIE G. RAMOS have presented to
the City a deed dated October 2, 1961, conveying an easement for
street purposes on the Northwest corner of Fifth and Jackson
Streets; and
WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
being paid to said grantors by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of October, 1961.
