HomeMy WebLinkAbout61-253RESOLUTION NO. 61-253 GRANTING VARIANCe. NO. 1539 ON APPEAL APPLICATION NO. 41 FILED BY ALBERT P. AND LORRAINE S. KELSO AFTER THE PLANNING COMMISSION HAD DENIED A VARIANCE WHEREAS, after hearing on notice, the Planning Commission denied Variance Application No. 1539, filed by ALBERT P. and LORRAINE S. KELSO, which said Variance was requested to build eight one-bedroom units with less than the required lot area per unit, and with less than the required off-street parking in an R-3 District; and WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 41 was duly filed with the City council appealing the denial of the Variance by the Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, after hearing before the City Council; after careful consideration of the statements contained in and the materials accompanying the application; the testimony offered at the hearing; examination of all the facts established; and after determining that said Variance Application meets the requirements of Section 9250.8 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, it has been determined that said Variance should be granted as applied for and that the Planning Commission should be overruled. o NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Aha hereby grants Appeal Application No. 41 and grants a Variance on Variance Application No. 1539 as applied for. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of November, 1961.
