HomeMy WebLinkAbout60-053Publish April 2, 1960 City owned Alley - No fee per City Attorney c: Pub Wks This was a verbal request from Public Works to va~at~ the City owned alley. ~ /~ BESOLUTION NO. 00-53 APPROVING MAP AND DECLARING INTENTION TO VACATE A 19-5 FOOT ALLEY RUNNING BETWEEN SIXTH AND EIGHTH STREETS ll5 FEET EAST OF PARTON STREET WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has recommended the vacation of a certain alley hereinbelow described; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: ~nat the map attached aereto marked '*Exhibit A" is hereby approved and ordered filed with and as a part of this Resolution in the office of the Clerk of the Council, and reference is hereby made to said map for particulars as to the vacation proposed herein, and the City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate and abandon that certain alley in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: An alley 19.5 feet wide running North and South between Sixth and Eighth Streets, the Westerly line of which said alley lies ll~ feet East of the Easterly line of ?arton Street. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the hour of 7:30 P.M. on the 18th day of April, ±960, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 3rd and Nain Streets, Santa Ana, California, is the time and place fixed for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation of said alley. The City Council declares its intention to proceed with this street vacation under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941 (Sections 8300 through 8374 of the California Streets and Highways Code. The Clerk of the Council is ordered to publish tmis Resolution in the manner prescribed by law for the publication of Ordinances of the City, and the Director of Public Works is ordered to post notices of street vacation conspicuously along the line of said alley, stat- ing the passage of this Resolution of intention and the time and place of hearing tmereon. Said notices shall be posted not more then 300 feet apart and at least taree shall be so posted. Both publication and posting small be completed at least ten days before the date of said hearing.
