RESOLUTION NO. 60-72 GRANTING VARIANCE ON APPLICATION
NO. 1290 FILED BY~ WHERE ONLY ONE OF THE
RECOMMENDED CONDI~MODIFIED
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission after public hearing, on
notice, has recommended that a Variance be granted on Variance
Application No. 1290 on certain conditions, and the City Council,
after consideration, agrees but finds that one recommended condi-
tion should be modified;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby
grants a Variance to permit the property described in Planning
Commission Resolution No. 5376 to be used for the conversion of an
existing residence into a real estate office, and the erection of
a four foot by ten foot changeable letter sign and an electric sign
as requested - specifically excludinq the proposed future addition
to the existing building and subject to all the conditions recom-
mended in said Planning Commission Resolution except that condition
numbered (2) is hereby modified to read:
"(2) That the applicant enter into an agreement with
the City of Santa Aha to remove the garage at a future
date to be determined by the Planning Department Staff,
and that the entire rear lot area be blacktopped and a
parking lot designed as close as possible to the standards
on file in the Planning Department."
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of April, 1960.

was regularly introduced to said Council at its regular meeting
held on the 18th day of April, 1960, and was at said meeting
