RESOLUTION NO. 60-1~ GRANTING VARIANCE APPLICATION
NO. 1314 FILED BY FRANCIS ~ ~OEN WHERE PLANNING COMMIS-
SION RECO~ENDED DENIAL
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, after public hearing on
notice, has reconmnended denial of Variance Application No. 1314,
and City Council, after consideration, has decided that said
Variance should be granted upon certain conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council
hereby grants a Variance on Application No. 1314 to permit the
use of property located at ~he Northwest corner of Myrtle and
Franklin Streets in the City of Santa Ana, lying in the County of
Orange, state of California, described as follows:
Lot 23 in Block "D" Of Tract No. 233, Franklin Place, as
shown on a map recorded in Book 13, ~age 9 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange COunty,
in an R-1 District to be used for the location of an existing two-
story, 4-unit apartment house in accordance with regulations.
Said Variance is granted subject to conditions:
1. That all broken sidewalks be replaced and that all
access rights be dedicated to the city.
2. That only the apartment house shown by the pictures
in the Planning Con~ission's file be permitted to
be located on this property.
3. That the development be in accordance with plot
plan "C" as submitted to the Planning Department.
4. That all property located within the City's future
right of way lines be dedicated to the City.
5. That all the above conditions be complied with prior
to issuance of a utilities release by the Building
Department.
