HomeMy WebLinkAbout60-115RESOLUTION NO. ~ GIVING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON QUESTION OF DOG LEASH ORDINANCE FOR CITY OF SANTA ANA WHEREAS, a petition and oral arguments have been presented to the City Council of Santa Ana, California urging the adoption of an Ordinance prohibiting dogs from running at large in the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana will hold a public hearing on July 5, 1960, at 7:30 P.M., in the City Council Chambers, Third Floor, City Hall, Third and Main Streets, Santa Ana, California, where all persons regularly residing within the City of Santa Ana may appear and be heard, either for or against the adoption of an Ordinance to re- quire all dogs to be kept within enclosures, securely tied on owners property or controlled upon a leash held by the person in charge of such dog, and providing penalties for violation and for pick-up and destruction of dogs running at large. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of June, 1960.
