THE CITY IS PAYING CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, HALE T. BARKER and MARGARET BARKER have presented [..c"
to the City a deed dated August 11, 1960, granting to the City
one parcel of land located on the Southwest corner of Standard
Avenue and Chestnut Street in the City of Santa Aha in consider-
ation of the payment of $7,650.00. Said transaction is to be
handled through Escrow No. 45142-B with the Security Title Insurance
Company, 825 North Broadway, Santa Aha, California; and
WHE S, SO HE C IFORNIA EDISON CO PA , a California
corporation, has presented to the City a deed dated July 18, 1960,
conveying an easement for street purposes located on the Southeast
corner of Sullivan and First Streets in the City of Santa Ana in
consideration of the payment of $240.00. Said transaction is to
be handled without an Escrow.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of September, 1960.
