HomeMy WebLinkAbout60-176RESOLUTION NO. 60-176 GRANTING VARIANCE ON APPLICATION NO. 1374 ~ERE THE PLANNING COiv~4ISSION RECOMMENDED DENIAL WHEREAS, heretofore HARRY P. JACKSON, new owner of the property affected, applied for variance to eliminate a condition in the variance approved on Variance Application No. 1122 to permit the sale of packaged beer and wine, and the Planning Commission, after hearing, recommended denial; and WHEREAS, the City Council, after hearing, has decided that the condition imposed in said original Variance should be eliminated. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Variance as requested in Variance Application No. 1374 to eliminate the prohibition against the sale of beer and wine, imposed on Variance Application No. 1122, is hereby granted on Appeal No. 1 from the Planning Commission, subject to the condition that the holding of an Off Sale Beer and Wine License for any portion of the property in this shopping center and the sale of said beverages be limited to the Tiny Tim Market, grocery store, at 1206 South Standard Avenue, and that the prohibition against the sale of alcoholic beverages imposed in the original Variance shall remain effective for any other portion of said property. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of September, 1960.
