AN AMenDMENT TO THE C(]h'FRACT PROVIDING F~ THE PAR-
TICIPATION ~F THE CITY OF SANTA ANA IN 'Am STATE
EMPLOYEES' RETI~E.~T SYSTEM.
~EAS~ the Board of Administration of the State E~ployees'
Retirement System and the City Council of the City of Santa Aha entered
into a contract effective July t~ 1947~ providing for the participation
of said City of Santa Aha in the State Employees' Retirement System; and
WHEREA~ on July 5, 1960~ the City Council of the City of Santa Aha
passed and adopted a Resolution declaring its intentions to amend said
contract to provide for a monthly allowance to be paid to certain eligible
surviors of a member who dies before retirement.
NO~ 'I~i]~EF~RE BE IT RESOLVED; that said City Council authorize and
it does hereby authorize; an amendment to said contract a copy of said
amendment being attached hereto ~rked "Exhibit A;'t and by this reference
made a part hereof; and
BE IT FURTHER RE~OLVED; that the presiding officer of said City
Council be; and he is hereby authorized; empowered; and directed to
execute said Amendment for and on behalf of said City of Santa Aha.

at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of 0c$obsr ~ 1960.
