HomeMy WebLinkAbout60-195RESOLUTION NO. 60-195 AMENDING STREETS AND HIGHWAYS ELEMENT OF THE MASTER PLAN WHEREAS, heretofore by Resolution No. 58-261, the City adopted the Streets and Highways Element of its Master Plan, and now, after study and hearings, the Planning Commission recommends amendment of the same; and WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing, on notice, on the 19th day of September, 1960, and concluded that the recommended amendment should be adopted to conform to the City and County Highways Program and as a necessary element of this City's Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Streets and Highways Element of the Master Plan, adopted by Resolution No. 58-261, is here- by amended in the two following respects: Bristol Street, between Memory Lane and Delhi Road, is redesignated from a four-lane secondary classifi- cation to a four-lane divided primary street, without change in existing future right of way lines. e Grand Avenue, between Santiago Creek and Delhi Road, is redesignated from a four-lane primary street to a six-lane primary street. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of October, 1960. Heinly CIJERK OF THE COUNCIL At September 19, 1960 meeting a hearing was held on Amendment of Street and Highway Element of Master Plan. Ordinance was given first reading Septenber 19, 1960 but Ordinance not prepared by Attorney who later advised a Resolution was necessary.
