OF AGREF~NT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORb~IA FOR
THE INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL
SYST~i AND HIGHWAY LIGHTING AT THE INTERSECTION
OF SEVENTEENTH STREET At~D TUSTIN AVENUE
WHEREAS, Tustin Avenue is in the approximate alignment for
State Highway Route VII-Ora-43-SA and crosses Seventeenth Street
in the City of Santa Ana, and it has been determined that the inter-
section will need a traffic control system and lighting devices,
which the State has agreed to install, each party to pay one-half
of the cost of such installation; and
W~EREAS, the agreement to carry this work into effect has
been recommended by the Department of Public Works and approved by
the City Attorney.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the ~ayor and the Clerk
of the Council are hereby directed to execute said agreement for and
on behalf of the City of Santa Ana.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of November, 1960.
