OF TERRITORY FR~ THE ORANGE COUN~ LIGHTING
DISTRICT NO. 6
~HEREAS, heretofore, the territory known as Tract No. 34~9,
hereinbelow described, was annexed to the City of Santa Ana by
Ordinance Mo. NS-459, adopted October 3, 19~0, under the designated
name of "LINCOLN AND VIRGINIA W. ANNEX", so that now all of said
territory is within the limits of the City of Santa Ana, California,
and entitled to free street lighting without the imposition of a
special tax therefore. However, said territory still remains in
the Orange County Lighting District No. 6 and should be removed
therefrom; and
WHEREAS, on November 21, 1950, the Orange County Boundary
Commission approved the description of territory hereinbelow set
out as reasonably definite and certain for the purpose of removing
said territory from said District.
NO~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That all of the territory in
the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, des-
cribed as:
TRACT NO. 3489
Commencing at the intersection of the center lines of
Fairhaven Avenue and Lincoln Street as shown on a map
of Tract Number 3489, Recorded in Book 125, Page 42,
~iscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California,
and running thence South 00° 05' 13" West 493.28 feet
to the true point of beginning; thence continuing South
00° 05' 13" West 254.98 feet; thence South 88° 37'
West 153.95 feet; thence North 00° 11' 33" East 70.00
feet; thence South 88° 37' 53" West 120.00 feet; thence
South O0° 11' 33" West 135.00 feet; thence South 88° 37'
~3" West 180.00 feet; thence North 00° 11' 33" East
330.00 feet; thence North 8~° 37' 53" East 453.46 feet
to the true point of beginning,
be, and the same is hereby withdrawn from the Orange County Lighting
District NO. 5, and the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby
officially declares that said territory is so withdrawn from said
District.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Clerk of the Council is hereby
directed to file a Certified Copy of this Resolution with the State
Board of Equalization of the State of California, a similar copy
with the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange, as the govern-
lng Board of said District,
Assessor of Orange County,
Department of Public Works
and a similar Copy with the County
California, and a similar copy with the
of the City of Santa Ana, California, and
said withdrawal shall be effective upon the filing of said Certified
Copies.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of December, 1960.
