OF RESOLUTION NO. 60-215 ACCEPTING DEED FRO~I
HUBERT AND RENA ~,~LTONWHERE THE CITY WAS
PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, on November 7th, 1960, the City of Santa Ana, by
Resolution No. 50-215, accepted a deed dated November 2, 1960, from
HUBERT, i,'~TON and RENA i'4ELTON. Said deed conveyed an easement for
street purposes on the North side of Edinger Street, West of Fairview
Street, without cash consideration being paid to the grantors by the
City; and
WHEREAS, it was subsequently determined that said deed was
presented to the City with the understanding that it was conditioned
upon the granting of a zone change for certain other property owned
by said HUBERT ~LTON; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City does not desire
to accept said deed based upon the condition of granting a zone
change.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the portion of
Resolution No. ~60-215~ passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Santa Aha at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of
November, 19&0, which accepted the deed dated November 2, 1960, from
HUBERT £4ELTON and RENA MELTON, is hereby~rescinded.?~
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of December, 1960.
