CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, JACOBA V. OBISPO and NATALIO S. VINOYA have
delivered to the City a deed dated January 6, 1966, conveying an
easement for street purposes at the southeast corner of McFadden
Avenue and Euclid Street; and
WHEREAS, PHILIP R. LEOS and FRANCES S. LEOS have delivered
to the City a deed dated January 21, 1966, conveying an easement for
street purposes on the north side of Roosevelt Street, west of Euclid
Street; and
WHEREAS, the ELLIOTT COMPANY, a Partnership, has delivered
to the City a deed dated January 6, 1966, conveYing an easement for
street purposes north and south of Adams Street, east of Raitt Street;
and
WHEREAS, GRAND CENTRAL INDUSTRIAL CENTRE, a corporation,
formerly Grand Central Terminal Co., has delivered to the City a deed
dated January 18, 1966, conveying an easement for street purposes on
the south side of Dyer Road, east of Kilson Drive; and
WHEREAS, FAITH ASSEMBLY CHURCH OF SILVER ACRES, a corporation,
has delivered to the City a deed dated June 28, 1965, conveying an
easement for street purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, west
of Rosita Street; and
WHEREAS, JAMES A LUKENS and FLORENCE B. LUKENS have delivered
to the City a deed dated January 18,1966, conveying an easement for
street purposes on the south sideof Edinger Avenue, east of Fairview
Street; and
WHEREAS, GULF OIL CORPORATION, a Pennsylvania corporation,
has delivered to the City a deed dated January 7, 1966, conveying an
easement for street purposes on the east side of Grand Avenue, and
the south side of Santa Clara Avenue; and
WHEREAS, STAFAC INC., a Delaware corporation, and SHELL OIL
COMPANY, a Delaware corporation, have delivered to the City a deed
dated November 12, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes
at the southwest corner of Harbor Boulevard and McFadden Avenue; and
WHEREAS, CLARA E. VOSE has delivered to the City a deed
dated January 28, 1966, conveying an easement for street purposes
on the west side of Bristol Street, Memory Lane to Santiago Creek;
and
WHEREAS, AKIDA MIYODA and GEORGE MIYODA have delivered to
the City a deed dated January 27, 1966, conveying an easement for
street purposes on the east side of Newhope Street, south of First
Street; and
WHEREAS, AKIDA MIYODA and GEORGE MIYODA have delivered to
the City a deed dated January 27, 1966, conveying an easement for
street purposes for Berry Street, north of Camille Street; and
WHEREAS, RUSSELL ROHRS and CALVIN ROHRS, as trustees under
the Declaration of Trust recorded June 24, 1965 in Book 7569, page 417,
Official Records, with power of sale, have delivered to the City a
deed dated February 2, 1966, conveying an easement for street purposes
on the south side of Seventeenth Street, east of Mabury Street; and
WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
being paid to said grantors by the City.
NOW, THEREFOP~E, BE IT R~SOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of February, 1966.
