IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, JOE V. RIOS and GUADALUPE VASQUEZ DOCTOLERO have
executed a deed dated February 4, 1966, conveying to the City an
easement for street purposes on the north side of Eighth Street,
east of English Street, in consideration of the sum of $379.00
and certain remedial work to be done by the City; said transaction
is to be handled through Escrow No. 873656-hrb with First American
Title Insurance and Trust Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, J. CONCEPCION OROZCO and TRINIDAD D. OROZCO have
executed a deed dated February 4, 1966, conveying to the City ease-
ments for street purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, west
of Townsend Street, in consideration of the sum of $355.00 and certain
remedial work to be done by the City; said transaction is to be
handled through Escrow No. 873637-hrb with First American Title
Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, LEONARD G. HERNANDEZ and ESTHER HERNANDEZ have
executed a deed dated February 4, 1966, conveying to the City real
property located on the south side of Eighth Street, west of Western
Avenue, in consideration of the sum of $13,000.00; said transaction
is to be handled through Escrow No. 873642-hrb with First American
Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, YSIDORO BELTRAN and GUILLERMA BELTRAN have executed
a deed dated February 4, 1966, conveying to the City real property
located on the south side of Eighth Street, west of Western Avenue,
in consideration of the sum of $8,800.00; said transaction is to be
handled through Escrow No. 873651-hrb with First American Title
Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, HAZEL L. PENDARVIS has executed a deed dated September
20, 1965, conveying to the City an easement for street purposes on
the south side of Eighth Street, west of Pacific Avenue, in consider-
ation of the sum of $2,130.00 and certain remedial work to be done
by the City; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
No. 872593-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust Company,
Santa Ana, California; and
WHERF~%S, MANUEL G. AYALA has executed a deed dated February 10,
1966, conveying to the City an easement for street purposes on the
south side of Eighth Street, east of Hawley Street, in consideration
of the sum of $1,445.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the
City; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 873643-hrb
with First American Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana,
California; and
WHEREAS, LATIN AMERICAN ASSEMBLIES OF GOD IN CALIFORNIA, a
California corporation, has executed a deed dated February 9, 1966,
conveying to the City an easement for street purposes on the south
side of Eighth Street, west of Raitt Street, in consideration of the
sum of $2,560.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the City;
said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 873661-hrb with
First American Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Aha, California;
and
WHEREAS, MARION L. KOCHAN has executed a deed dated February 8,
1966, conveying to the City real property on the north side of Eighth
Street, west of English Street, in consideration of the sum of
$1,840.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the City; said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 873659-hrb with First
American Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, GALAXY CONSTRUCTION CO., INC., a California
corporation, and W. E. FISHER and ELEANOR S. FISHER have executed a
deed dated February 1, 1966, conveying to the City of Santa Ana an
easement for drainage purposes and a temporary easement to be used
in conjunction with construction of a drainage channel~on the north
side of Edinger Avenue, east of the Southern Pacific Railroad right
of way, in consideration of the sum of $691.00 and improvements to
be installed by the City; said temporary easement will terminate upon
completion and acceptance by the City of Santa Ana of said drainage
channel from Edinger Avenue to Warner Avenue. This transaction is to
be handled through Escrow No. 873671-hrb with First American Title
Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, FRANCIS HARVEY VENIA, JR. and CHRISTINE L. VENIA have
executed a deed dated January 21, 1966, conveying to the City of
Santa Ana an easement for street purposes on the south side of Warner
Avenue, east of Orange Avenue, in consideration of the sum of
$2,165.00; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
No. 873666-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust Company,
Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, JESSIE H. VIVANCO and CONNIE A. VIVANCO have
executed a deed dated February 4, 1966, conveying to the City of
Santa Ana an easement for street purposes on the south side of Eighth
Street, west of English Street, in consideration of the sum of
$2,175.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the City; said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 873636-hrb with
First American Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of February, 1966.
