GRANTING TO THE COUNTY OF ORANGE A STRIP OF LAND
117 FEET WIDE BETWEEN SIXTH AND EIGHTH STREETS TO
CARRY INTO EFFECT AN AGREEMENT MADE BETWEEN THE
PARTIES HERETO DATED JANUARY 18, 1966, FOR EXCHANGE
OF REAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana and the County of Orange
entered into an agreement for an exchange of real property to
allow the new courthouse to be located further to the east.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the
Clerk of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to
execute a deed granting to the County of Orange the real property
in the County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Ail that certain land situated in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, bounded on the West
by the easterly line of that certain land described in the
Deed to the County of Orange, recorded August 30, 1965, in
Book 7648, Page 672, of Official Records in the Office of
the County Recorder of said County; bounded on the East by
a line lying 117.00 feet easterly of and parallel with the
easterly line of the land described in said Deed; bounded
on the North by the easterly extension of the northerly line
of the land described in said Deed; and bounded on the South
by the easterly extension of the southerly line of the land
described in said Deed,
and to deliver the same to the County of Orange.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of February, 1966.
