QUITCLAIM DEED TO OWNERS OF RECORD
WHEREAS, heretofore, the owners of certain property located
at the northeast corner of Santa Clara Avenue and Glassell Avenue
dedicated vehicular access rights to the City and the present owners
have now requested access rights to Glassell Street, which the City
has determined should be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk
of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute a deed
quitclaiming in severalty TO THE VARIOUS OWNERS OF THE UNDERLYING
FEE AS THEIR RESPECTIVE INTERESTS MAY APPEAR OF RECORD, the real
property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of
California, described as follows:
All vehicular access rights to Glassell Street over the Northerly
40.00 feet of the Southerly 137.00 feet of the following described
property:
That portion of Block A of the A. B. Chapman Tract as surveyed
by Frank Lecouvreur, in 1870, in the City of Santa Ana, as shown
on a map thereof, recorded in Book 102, page 15, Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 48 of the Santa Aha
Grand Avenue Tract, as shown on a map thereof, recorded in Book 26,
page 53, Miscellaneous Records, Los Angeles County, California;
thence Westerly along the Northerly line of Santa Clara Avenue
tl chains thence Northerly 11.77 chains, more or less, parallel
to the Westerly line and its Northerly prolongation of said
Lot 48, to the North line of the land described in the deed to
Fred Schroeder, recorded December 21, 1880, in Book 76, page 523,
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California; thence
Easterly 11 chains along said Northerly line of the land of
Schroeder to said Northerly prolongation of the West line of
Lot 48; thence Southerly 11.77 chains, more or less, along said
Northerly prolongation and along the Westerly line of said Lot 48
to the point of beginning,
and deliver the same to the Clerk of the Council.
