CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, CARL N. HOFFMAN and JEAN B. HOFFMAN have executed a
deed dated April 27, 1966, conveying to the City an easement for
street purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, east of Fairview
Street, in consideration of the sum of $1,910.00 and certain remedial
work to be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled
through Escrow No. 874022-hrb with First American Title Insurance &
Trust Company, Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, IVERSON G. McGLASSON and WILLIE M. McGLASSON have
executed a deed dated April 29, 1966, conveying to the City an
easement for street purposes on the south side of Warner Avenue and
the west side of Maple Street, in consideration of the sum of
$2,425.00; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
No. 874063-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust Company,
Santa Ana, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of May, 1966.
