GRANTING PROPERTY FOR THE WIDENING OF BRISTOL STREET
NORTH OF SEVENTH STREET IN EXCHANGE FOR A 20-FOOT
WIDE PARCEL RUNNING NORTH AND SOUTH ON THE SOUTH
SIDE OF EIGHTH STREET WEST OF BAKER STREET AND
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A DEED GRANTING THE SAME
WHEREAS, RALPH E. FOUCHE, ALBERT G. STEFAN and AMON BURDETT,
as successor trustee to Harold L. Daniels, deceased, (originally one
of the trustees under the following described trust) as trustees under
that certain trust agreement dated May 6, 1957 recorded in the Official
Records of Orange County, California on November 29, 1957 as instrument
154766 in Book 4119, page 463 thereof, have, by deed dated August 2,
1966, conveyed to the City of Santa Ana, without cash consideration,
an easement for street purposes on the west side of Bristol Street,
south of Eighth Street, in exchange for the City of Santa Ana's
conveying to said grantors an easement for ingress and egress and
public utility purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, west of
Baker Street; and
WHEREAS, said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
Number 874414-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust Company,
Santa Ana, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deed to be executed by RALPH E. FOUCHE, ALBERT G. STEFAN
and AMON BURDETT, as Trustees under that certain trust agreement dated
May 6, 1957 recorded in the Official Records of Orange County,
California, on November 29, 1957 as instrument 154766 in Book 4119,
page 463 thereof, granting to the City that certain real property in
the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described
as:
An easement for street purposes over the Easterly 16.00 feet of the
Westerly 30.00 feet of the Southerly 145.00 feet of the Northerly
265.00 feet of Lot 2 in Tract No. 33, as shown on a Map recorded in
Book 9, page 31 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California,
and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is directed to
place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk of the
Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute a grant deed
conveying to RALPH E. FOUCHE, ALBERT G. STEFAN and AMON BURDETT, as
Trustees in that certain Trust Agreement dated May 6, 1957 recorded
November 29, 1957 in Book 4119, page 463 of Official Records of
Orange County, California, that certain real property in the City of
Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as:
An easement for ingress and egress and public utility purposes over
the Southerly 92.00 feet of the Northerly 122.00 feet of the Westerly
20.00 feet of that portion of Lot 2 of Tract No. 33, as shown on a
Map recorded in Book 9, page 31 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the South line of Eighth Street, formerly
Hickey Street, 125 feet West of the corner formed by the inter-
section of the South line of Eighth Street, formerly Hickey Street,
and the West line of Baker Street, thence South parallel with the
west line of Baker Street, 230 feet; thence West, parallel with the
South line of Eighth Street, formerly Hickey Street, 64 feet; thence
North parallel with the West line of Baker Street, 230 feet to the
South line of Eighth Street, formerly Hickey Street; and thence
East 64 feet to the point of beginning,

and deliver the same into said Escrow Number 874414-hrb.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of May, 1966.
