IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, CARMEN NAVARRO, STEVEN J. NAVARRO, LLOYD NAVARRO,
ELEANOR NAVARRO, LOUISE GILL, GERALDINE RYAN and REBECCA NAVARRO as
guardian of the Person and Estate of Lydia Navarro, an incompetent
person, have executed a deed dated May 9, 1966, conveying to the
City an easement for street purposes on the north side of Eighth
Street, east of Raitt Street, in consideration of the sum of $745.00
and certain remedial work to be done by the City; said transaction
is to be handled through Escrow No. 870510-hrb with First American
Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, MICHAEL L. GARCIA and LUCILLE GARCIA have executed a
deed dated May 27, 1966, conveying easements for street purposes on
the south side of Eighth Street and the east side of Fairview Street,
in consideration of the sum of $3,415.00 and certain remedial work
to be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through
Escrow No. 874002-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, MICHAEL L. GARCIA and LUCILLE GARCIA have executed a
deed dated May 27, 1966, conveying an easement for street purposes on
the south side of Eighth Street, east of Fairview Street, in con-
sideration of the sum of $1,700.00 and certain remedial work to be
done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
No. 874018-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust Company,
Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, WILLIAM O. WEINREIS and GLORIA C. WEINREIS have
executed a deed dated May 18, 1966, conveying an easement for street
purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, west of Pacific Avenue,
in consideration of the sum of $1,980.00 and certain remedial work
to be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through
Escrow No. 874428-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
Company, Santa Ana, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of June, 1966.
