HomeMy WebLinkAbout66-122RESOLUTION 66-122 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION WHEREAS, THE JAMES IRVINE FOUNDATION, a California corporation, as to an undivided 510/950ths, has executed a deed dated June 27, 1966, granting to the City of Santa Ana easements for street purposes On the west side of Main Street from Sunflower Avenue to the Pacific Electric Railroad right of way; on the north side of Sunflower Avenue from Main Street to Flower Street; and on the north and south sides of Talbert Avenue from Main Street to Flower Street; and WHEREAS, KATE LILLARD WHEELER, as to an undivided 50/950tbs, has executed a deed dated June 27, 1966, granting to the Uity of Santa Ana easements for street purposes on the west side of Main Street from Sunflower Avenue to the Pacific Electric Railroad right of way; on the north side of Sunflower Avenue fro~ Main Street to Flower Street; and on the north and south sides of Talbert Avenue from Main Street to Flower Street; and WHEREAS, ATHALIE R. CLARKE, as Trustee under an Agreement with Athalie Irvine Swinden, Trustor, dated December 22, 1952 as to an undivided 100/950tbs, has executed a deed dated June 27, 1966, granting to the City of Santa Aha easements for street purposes on the west side of Main Street from Sunflower Avenue to the Pacific Electric Railroad right of way; on the north side of Sunflower Avenue from Main Street to Flower Street; and on the north and south sides of Talbert Avenue from Main Street to Flower Street; and WHEREAS, ATHALIE I. BURT, as to an undivided 100/950ths, has executed a deed dated July 21, 1966, granting to the City of Santa Ana easements for street purposes on the west side of Main Street from Sunflower Avenue to the Pacific Electric Railr~ d right of way; on the north side of Sunflower Avenue from Main Street to Flower Street; and on the north and south sides of Talbert Avenue from Main Street to Flower Street; and WHEREAS, SECURITY-FIRST NATIONAL BANK and GLORIA WOOD IRVINE, as Trustee under an Agreement with Myford Irvine, Trustor, dated November 26, 1958, as to an Undivided 10/950tbs, has executed a deed dated July 13, 1966, granting to the City of Santa Ana easements for street purposes on the west side of Main Street from Sunflower Avenue to the Pacific Electric Railroad right of way; on the north side of Sunflower Avenue from Main Street to Flower Street; and on the north and south sides of Talbert Avenue from Main Street to Flower Street; and WHEREAS, MACCO REALTY COMPANY, a California corporation, as to an undivided 15/950ths, has executed a deed dated June 20, 1966, granting to the City of Santa Aha easements for street purposes on the west side of Main Street from Sunflower Avenue to the Pacific Electric Railroad right of way; on the north side of Sunflower Avenue from Main Street to Flower Street; and on the north and south sides of Talbert Avenue from Main Street to Flower Street; and WHEREAS, the ASSISTANCE LEAGUE OF SANTA ANA, a California corporation, as to an undivided 6½/950ths, has executed a deed dated June 28, 1966, granting to the City of Santa Ana easements for street purposes on the west side of Main Street from Sunflower Avenue to the Pacific Electric Railroad right of way; on the north side of Sunflower Avenue from Main Street to Flower Street; and on the north and south sides of Talbert Avenue from Main Street to Flower Street; and WHEREAS, WILLIAM T. WHITE III, as to an undivided 1½/950ths, has executed a deed dated June 27, 1966, granting to the City of Santa Ana easements for street purposes on the west side of Main Street from Sunflower Avenue to the Pacific Electric Railroad right of way; on the north side of Sunflower Avenue frc~ Main Street to Flower Street; and on the north and south sides of Talbert Avenue from Main Street to Flower Street; and --1-- WHEREAS, GLORIA WOOD IRVINE, as her separate property, as to an undivided 17/950tbs interest, has executed a deed dated June 25, 1966, granting to the City of Santa Aha easements for street purposes on the west side of Main Street from Sunflower Avenue to the Pacific Electric Railroad right of way; on the north side of Sunflower Avenue from Main Street to Flower Street; and on the north and south sides of Talbert Avenue fr~ Main Street to Flower Street; and WHEREAS, GLORIA WOOD IRVINE and SECURITY FIRST NATIONAL BANK, as Trustees under the Will of Myford Irvine, also known as Myford P. Irvine, deceased, and the Decree of Distribution of his estate, a certified copy of which was recorded January 10, 1964 in Book 6879, page 818 of Official Records with power of sale and the right to lease as provided in said decree, as to an undivided 57.80/950ths interest, have executed a deed dated June 25, 1966, granting to the City of Santa Ana easements for street purposes on the west side of Main Street from Sunflower Avenue to the Pacific Electric Railroad right of way; on the north side of Sunflower Avenue from Main Street to Flower Street; and on the north and south sides of Talbert Avenue from Main Street to Flower Street; and WHEREAS, GLORIA WOOD IRVINE, WILLIAM THORNTON WHITE, JR., and ELDEN C. FRIEL, as Trustees under an Agreement with William T. White IILi Trustor, dated August 31, 1962, as to an undivided 32/950ths interest, have executed a deed dated June 27, 1966, granting to the City of Santa Ana easements for street purposes on the west side of Main Street from Sunflower Avenue to the Pacific Electric Railroad right of way; on the north side of Sunflower Avenue from Main Street to Flower Street; and on the north and south sides ~of Talbert Avenue from Main Street to Flower Street; and WHEREAS, LINDA IRVINE GAEDE, a married woman, as her separate property, as to an undivided 50.20/950tbs interest, has executed a deed dated July 20, 1966, granting to the City of Santa Ana easements for street purposes on the west side of Main Street from Sunflower Avenue to the Pacific Electric Railroad right of way; on the north side of Sunflower Avenue from Main Street to Flower Street; and on the north and south sides 'of Talbert Avenue from Main Street to Flower Street; and WHEREAS, JOHN F. EWING and JOAN C. EWING have executed a deed dated July 18, 1966, conveying an easement for street purposes on the southwest corner of Palm Avenue and Mabury Street to the City of Santa Aha; and WHEREAS, LONNIE M. DUNN and MARY R. DUNN have executed a deed dated August 3, 1966, conveying to the City easements for street purposes on the east side of Ritchey Street, south of Edinger Avenue to the Freeway; and WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration being paid to said grantors by the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of SantaAna Accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
