OF SANTA ANA ADVISING THE COUNTY OF ORANGE OF THE
ADOPTION OF A NEW GENERAL PLAN OF STBRRT DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana, on February 21, 1966, adopted
by Resolution 66-30, a General Plan as a framework and guide to assist
in the future planning and growth of the City of Santa Aha; and
WHEREAS, said General Plan includes provisions for the ultimate
improvement of arterial streets; and
WHEREAS, the procedure manual for the Arterial Highway Financing
Program requires annual requalification of participating cities in the
program by informing the Advisory Committee of any changes in its
Arterial Highway Master Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Advisory C~,,ittee of
the Arterial Highway Financing Program be informed_of the adoption of
the new General Plan and its content as it affects arterial streets,
and be requested to adopt it into the County Arterial Highway Master
Plan and make it eligible for inclusion in the program.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That Table 16 of the General Plan of
the City of Santa Aha be forwarded to the Advisory Committee of the
Arterial Highway Financing Program as a part hereof for reference.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of August, 1966.
