INDENTURE BETWEEN THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY
AND THE CITY OF SANTA ANA FOR A STREET EASEMENT
FOR THE OPENING OF FLOWER STREET, TALBERT AVENUE
TO WARNER AVENUE
WHEREAS, SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY, a Delaware Corporation,
has delivered to the City an Indenture granting to the City an
easement to construct, reconstruct, maintain and use a street or
highway upon and across the property of the Southern Pacific
Company for the opening of Flower Street from Talbert Avenue to
Warner Avenue, and to construct automatic gates and signals in
connection with said street opening, under the terms and conditions
contained in said Indenture.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
hereby accepts ~id Indenture; the Mayor and the Clerk of the Council
are hereby authorized to execute said indenture and to acknowledge
the same for and on behalf of the City of Santa Aha; and Carl J.
Thornton, the City's designated agent, is directed to place his
Certificate of Acceptance on said Indenture.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of November, 1966.
