HomeMy WebLinkAbout66-153RESOLUTION 66-153 ADOPTING A CITY CENTER PLAN AS AN EXTENSION OF THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA W}{EREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Charter of the City of Santa Ana, and oflthe Santa Ana Municipal Code, the City of Santa Aha has adopted a General Plan as a framework and guide to assist in the future planning and growth of the city; and W~EREAS, the Santa Aha Municipal Code provides for extensions of such General Plan; and WHEP~EAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Aha has, following public hearings as required by law, recommended to the City Council that it adopt the City Center Plan proposed by the Planning Director; and WHEREAS, the said City Center Plan consists of a map entitled, "City Center Land Use, Arterial Streets, Public Facilities", and is supported by "Technical Workbook Five of the General Plan"; and WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted a public hearing as required by ~9122.1 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, and has found the proposed City Center Plan to constitute a feasible and well-considered design for future development guidelines; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Aha hereby approves and adopts the City Center Plan, as an extension of the existing General Plan for the City of Santa Aha, as recommended to it by the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana, consisting of a map entitled, "City Center Land Use, Arterial Streets, Public Facilities" and supporting "Technical Workbook Five of the General Pla~ all as promulgated by the planning staff of said city. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said approval and adoption are pursuant to §9122 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of November, 1966.
