PROPERTY CONTRACT AND ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
FROM HELL R. FEW, ET AL, FOR THE ACQUISITION
OF PARCEL NO. 185 FOR CIVIC CENTER PROJECT NO.
G.A. 401
WHEREAS, the Department of Real Property Services of the
County of Orange, acting for and on behalf of the City of Santa
Ana, has negotiated and conditionally delivered to the City a
Real Property Contract and Deed executed by grantors, as herein-
below set out, conveying a parcel of real property for Civic
Center Project No. G. A. 401; and
WHEREAS, NELL R. FEW, ELEANOR R. MARKHAM, LINA R. MAC
CAUGHTRY, LEILA R. JERGENS, ETHEL R. PEASE, FRED G. ROSENBAUM,
MELVIN E. ROSENBAUM, HAZEL M. ROSENBAUM, FRANK O. ROSENBAUM,
PEGGE SUE STEVENS, ED M. ROSENBAUM, HOMER ROSENBAUM, also known
as Homer T. Rosenbaum, ANN R. HOWELL and RUTH R. JONES, as their
separate property, have executed a deed dated November 18, 1966,
conveying to the City of Santa Aha real property located on the
north side of Fifth Street, west of Van Ness Street, and
designated as Parcel No. 185, for a consideration of $28,000.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the
Clerk of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to
execute said Real Property Contract for the City; that the
City of Santa Ana accepts said deed, and Carl J. Thornton, the
City's designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate
of Acceptance thereon.
The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to issue
his warrant in the amount specified above to the grantors or
their assigns and to deliver the warrant as directed by said
Department of Real Property Services to the grantors or their
assigns when the City has received title to the parcel of real
property conveyed by said grantors as hereinabove set out.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Aha at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of January,
1967.
