CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
A GROUP OF MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENTS AS
CONSTITUTING A CITY PLAN PURSUANT TO THE
PROVISIONS OF TITLE 4, DIVISION 4, CHAPTER 4,
ARTICLE 1 OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE OF THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, This City Council proposes to call a special bond
election within the City of Santa Aha to submit to the voters
the question of whether or not bonded indebtedness should be
incurred for the following purposes:
PROPOSITION B - CITY OF SANTA ANA PUBLIC BUILDING BONDS
For improving fire and police protection in
critical areas, greater city administrative
efficiency in the City Plan for community build-
ings and improvements, as approved by the City
Planning Commission and the City Council, shall
the City incur a bonded indebtedness in the
principal amount of Five Million Ninety-Five
Thousand Dollars for the acquisition, construction
and completion of needed facilities, including a
new city hall, and to include such lands as re-
quired, furnishings and essential facilities for
these public buildings~'
and
WI~EREAS, this City Council has considered said improvements
as providing facilities for the public use, interest, convenience
and safety of the City of Santa Ana and the inhabitants thereof;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Con~nission of the City of Santa Ana
has considered said improvements and has approved said improve-
ments as constituting a city plan pursuant to the provisions of
Title 4, Division 4, Chapter 4, Article 1 of the Government Code
of the State of California, by the adoption of its resolution
No. 5797 on January 9, 1967;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana,
California, DOES HEREBY FIND, RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as
follows:
Section 1. That the group of municipal improvements
described in the recitals hereof be and hereby is approved as
constituting a city plan pursuant to Title 4, Division 4, Chapter
4, Article 1 of said Government Code.
Section 2. That the group of municipal improvements may
be submitted as a single bond proposition at said proposed
election.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of January, 1967.
