HomeMy WebLinkAbout67-030RESOLUTION 67-30 DECLARING A PORTION OF RED HILL AVENUE TO BE A COUNTY HIGHWAY DURING THE PERIOD OF IMPROVEMENT OF SAID ROADWAY BY THE COUNTY OF ORANGE WHEREAS, that portion of Red Hill Avenue between MacArthur Boulevard and the Santa Aha Freeway within the City Limits of Santa Aha has been declared by the Board of Supervisors to be a county highway for the purposes of improvement of said roadway by the County; and WHEREAS, the County of Orange proposes to improve said portion of Red Hill Avenue; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That pursuant to the provisions of Section 1701, Article 3, Chapter 9, Division 2 of the Streets and Highways Code, the City of Santa Ana consents to the establishment of that portion of Red Hill Avenue between MacArthur Boulevard and the Santa Ana Freeway lying within the City Limits of Santa Aha as a County highway during the period of improvement of said road by the County of Orange. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Council is hereby authorized and directed to transmit to the ROad Depart- ment of the County of Orange a certified copy of this Resolution of consent. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of March, 1967.
