COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANk
EXPRESSING OPPOSITION TO PROPOSED
ASSEMBLY BILL NO. 430
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana has
become aware of the nature and content of Assembly Bill
No. 430; and
WHEREkS, the present requirements for membership on the
Workmen's Compensation Appeals Board appears designed to achieve
a high degree of competency of its members while the method
proposed by Assembly Bill No. 430 refers to standards incapable
of clear definition which would render the composition of future
Appeals Boards of highly problematical quality.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council
of the City of Santa Ana hereby expresses its opposition to
Assembly Bill No. 430.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of
April, 1967.
