RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC CONVENIENCE
~ NECESSITY REQUIRE IMPROVEMENT WORK, AND ORDERING
WORK
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 233
SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Arm, Calif-
ornia did,.on J~ne 19, 1967, in ad.opting its Resolutions No. 67-97
and 67-98 in thzs assessment distr/ct, order that a public hearing
be held on Monday, July 17, 1967 at 7:30 o'clock P.M. in the
Council Chambers in the City Hall in said City of Santa Aha, con-
currently with the protest hearing under Sts.said Resolution.of
Intention No. 67-98, for the purpose of f/ndlng and determinzng
whether the public convenience and necessity require the improve-
ments proposed to be constructed as described in said ResolUtion of
Intention No. 67-98; and
WHEREAS, notice of the adoption of said Resolution No.
67-97 and of said Resolution of Intention No. 67-98 by mailing,
posting and publication was given in the time, form and manner as
required by law, as sh°wn by the affidavits of mailing, posting and
publication on file in the office of the Clerk of the Council of
said City of Santa Arm; and
WHEREAS, protests or objections, in writing or otherwise,
made by the owners of more than half of the area of the property to
be assessed for said improvements against the proposed work and
improvement, the extent of the district to be assessed, or the grades
to which said work is proposed to be done, have not been made or
presented up to the hour set for hearing in and by said Resolution
of Intention No. 67-98, and no other person appeared at said public
hearings and made objection that the public convenience and
necessity did not require such improvement; and
WHEREAS, said City Council received testimony from the
D/rector of Public Works of said City of Santa Ana that said pro-
posed work and improvement in the assessment district proposed to
be assessed for such work and improvement is, in his opinion,
required for the public convenience and necessity.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Santa Aha, California, in regular session assembled this
~~ay of July, 1967, that said City C~uncil hereb~ finds.
mines that ~azd proposed work and zmproveme?t xs feaszble,
and that the publzc znterest, convenience and necesszty require such
improvement, and that all protests, both oral and in writing, to the
doing of said work be and the same hereby are overruled and denied.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said City Counc$1 hereby orders
that the work and improvement, as set forth and descrzbed xn said
Resolution of Intention No. 67-98 passed and adopted by said City
Council on the 19th day of June, 1967, and in the plans and specifi-
cations therein referred to and adopted, be done in the manner
described in and provided by said resolution of intention and said
plans and specifications·
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the b~undaries of the assess-
ment district, and the grades to which said work and improvement
are to be constructed shall be those set forth and described in said

Resolution of Intention No. 67-98, in the plans and specifications
therein referred to, and in the plat or map of said assessment
district therein referred to, reference to which is hereby made for
all further particulars.
