OF SANTA ANAEXPRESSING GRATITUDE FOR THE OPPORTUNITY
TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DEDICATION OF THE ANAHEIM
CONVENTION CENTER
WHEREAS, on the occasion of the recent dedication of the
Anaheim Convention Center, the City of Santa Ana was afforded an
opportunity to present an exhibit representing itself; and
WHEREAS, the exhibit of the City of Santa Ana, together with
those of the various other cities of Orange County, collectively
represented the first governmental exhibit of its type in Orange
County; and
WHEREAS, the opportunity to place an exhibit at an event
such as the dedication of the Anaheim Convention Center is bene-
ficial, not only to the participating cities, but also to the County
as a whole; and
WHEREAS, a special room in the Convention Center was
permanently named the "Santa Ana Room".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of
the City of Santa Ana expresses to the Anaheim Convention Center
Dedication Committee its gratitude on behalf of the citizens of
Santa Ana for the opportunity to participate in the dedication of
the Anaheim Convention Center by the placing of an exhibit in the
Convention Center and for naming a special room after our City;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City
of Santa Ana hereby extends congratulations and the best wishes of
the citizens of Santa Aha for success for the Anaheim Convention
Center.
