ROAD EASEMENT SOUTH OF MEMORY LANE, WEST OF BRISTOL
STREET
WHEREAS, on recommendation of the Department of Public Works
and the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana, Resolution 67-109
was adopted giving notice of intention to vacate the street right of
way herein described and giving notice of public hearing thereon; and
WHEREAS, said public hearing was duly held on both published
and written notice as required by law and, after hearing, the City
Council determined that said right of way should be vacated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Ana does hereby find that that 30-foot road easement
south of Memory Lane, west of Bristol Street, is unnecessary for present
or prospective street purposes and does hereby make its order abandoning
and vacating for street purposes that certain street right of way in
the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described
as:
The northerly 30.00 feet of Lot 1 of the Mabury Tract, as shown
on a map thereof recorded in Book 165, page 301, of Deeds, in
the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County,
California, described in the deed to the City of Santa Ana in
Book 54, Page 261, of Deeds, in the office of the County Recorder
of Orange County, California, except that portion lying northerly
and northeasterly of a line that is parallel and/or concentric
with and distant southerly and southwesterly, 50.00 feet, measured
at right angles and/or radially, from the following described line:
Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 1 of said Mabury Tract,
said point being the intersection of the center lines of Bristol
Street and Memory Lane; thence N 89~ 57' 30" West along the
center line of Memory Lane, 139.94 feet, to the beginning of a
tangent curve concave northeasterly, having a radius of 2000.00
feet; thence westerly and northwesterly along the arc of said
curve through a central angle of 19~ 06' 50" an arc distance of
667.20 feet.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of Aug~
