RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
A GROUP OF MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENTS AS
CONSTITUTING A CITY PLAN PURSUANT TO
THE PROVISIONS OF TITLE 4, DIVISION 4,
CHAPTER 4, ARTICLE 1 OF THE GOVERNMENT
CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, this City Council proposes to call
a special bond election within the City of Santa Ana
to submit to the voters the question of whether or not
bonded indebtedness should be incurred for the following
purpose:
BOND PROPOSITION:
To adopt a Program for Progress by taking
urgent, critical, preventive measures for the
protection of health, safety, general welfare
and property of the citizens by repairing,
constr~cting and enlarging the city's network
of sewers and storm drains, for improving and
increasing fire protection and supervision in
critical areas, for effecting greater economies
in administrative efficiency for buildings,
improvements and services, for the purpose of
repairing and improving city streets, sidewalks
and thoroughfares as a means of providing in-
creased safety and convenience for pedestrians
and vehicular traffic, including repair, replace-
ment, relocation and widening of streets in areas
throughout the city, to install new and repair or
replace older street lighting and related facili-
ties as needed or required, to develop and expand
more neighborhood parks and recreational services,
improvement of existing park sites and the install-
ing of needed or required services, buildings and
essential equipment and all lands and facilities
necessary for the foregoing purposes which
constitute a city plan as approved by the Planning
Commission and the City Council, shall the city
incur a bonded indebtedness in the principal
amount of Twenty-Five Million Dollars ($25,000,000)?
and
WHEREAS, this City Council has considered said
improvements as providing facilities For the public use,
interest, convenience and safety of the City of Santa Aha
and the inhabitants thereof; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of
Santa Ana has considered said improvements and has approved
said improvements as constituting a city plan pursuant to
the provisions of Title 4, Division 4, Chapter 4, Article 1
of the Government Code of the State of California~ by the
adoption of its resolution, Resolution No. 5815 on July
1967;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the
Santa Ana, California, DOES HEREBY FIND, RESOLVE,
AND ORDER as follows:

DETERMINE
Section 1. That the group of municipal improve-
ments described in the recitals hereof be and hereby is
approved as constituting a city plan pursuant to Title 4,
Division 4, Chapter 4, Article I of said Government Code.
Section 2. That the group of municipal improve-
ments may be submitted as a single bond proposition at said
proposed election.
