THE CITY IS PAYING A CAS}{ CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, THE SANTA ANAUNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY,
has executed a deed dated June 9, 1967, conveying to the City real
property north of Segerstrom Avenue and east of Shelton Street, in
consideration of the sum of $46,200.00; said transaction to be
handled through Escrow No. 875009-HL with the First American Title
Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, TRINITY MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH OF SANTA ANA, a
California corporation, has executed a deed dated June 27, 1967,
conveying to the City an easement for sewer purposes south of Hazard
Avenue and west of Morse Drive, in consideration of the sum of
$330.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the City at said
location; said transaction to be handled through Escrow No. 875015-HL
with the First American Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana,
California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City,s designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of August, 1967.
