WF. ERgAM, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, Calif-
ornia, did, on the 17th. day. of July, 1967, in a. dopting its Resolutio.ns
No. 6.7-116 and 67-117 mn thms assessment distrmct, order that a publmc
hearmng be held on MondaY, the 21st day of August, 1967 at 7:30 o'clock
P.M. in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in said City of Santa Aha
concurrently with the protest hearing unde. r i. ts said Resolut.ion of
Intention No. 67-117 for the purpose of fmndmng and determinmng _
whether the public convenience and necessity r.equire the impr.ove
ments proposed to be constructed as described mn said Resolutmon of
Intention No. 67-117; and
WHEREAS, notice of the adoption of said Resolution No.
67-116 and of said Resolution of Intention No. 67-117 by mailing,
posting and publication was given in the time, form and manner as
required by law, as ~hownby the affidavits of mailing, posting and
publication on file mn the office of the Clerk of the Council of
said City of Santa Aha; and
WHERFjkS, protests or objections, in writing or otherwise,
made by the owners of more than half of the area of the property to
be assessed for said improvements against the proposed work and
improvement, the extent of the district t° be assessed, or the grades
to which said work is proposed to be done, have not been made or
presented up to the hour set for hearing in and by said Resolution
of Intention No. 67-117, and no other person appeared at said public
hearings and made objections that the public convenience and
necessity did not require such improvement; and
WHEREAS, said City Council received testimony from the.
Director of Public Works of.said City of Santa Aha that said pro
posed work and improvement mn the assessment district proposed to
be assessed for such work and {mprovement is, in his opinion,
required for the public convenience and necessity.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLV~ by the City Council of the
City of Santa Aha, California, in regular session ass~mb~d.this
21st day of August, 1967, that said City Council hereoy zmnus
and determines that said proposed work and improvement is feasible,
and that the public interest, convenience and necessmty require such
improvement, and that all protests, both oral and in writing, to the
doing of said work be and the same hereby are overruled and denied.
Bg IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said City Council hereby ~rders
that the work and improvement, as set forth and described in samd
Resolution of Intention No. 67-117 passed a~d adopted by said City.
Council on th? 17th day of July, 1967, and mn the.plans and specmfm-
Catmons theremn referred to and adopted, be done mn the manner
described in and provided by said resolution of intention and said
plans and specifications.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVe) that the boundaries of the assess-
ment district, and the grades to which said work and improvement .
are to be constructed shall be those set forth and described in samd

Resolution of Intention No. 67-117, in the plans and specifications
therein referred to, and in the plat or map of said assessment
district therein referred to, reference to which is hereby made for
all further particulars.
