CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, the GARDEN GROVE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT has executed
a deed dated August 8, 1967, conveying to the City of Santa Ana an
easement for sewer purposes 600 feet south of Hazard Avenue and
264 feet west of Morse Drive in consideration of the sum of $955.00
and certain remedial work to be done by the City at said location;
said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 875016-HL with
First American Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana,
California; and
WHEREAS, the GARDEN GROVE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT has executed
a deed dated August 8, 1967, conveying to the City of Santa Ana a
water easement east of Newhope Street, from the C5F Channel to the
West Reservoir, in consideration of the sum of $3,175.00; said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 874946-HRB with
First American Title Insurance and Trust Company, Santa Ana,
California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deeds; and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of August, 1967.
