3 AND 3.1 OF RESOLUTION NO. 58-281
WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted
Resolution No. 58-281 revising and establishing the Basic Compensation
Plan for employees of the City of Santa Ana; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended this
Resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to assign new schedule numbers to the
class titles and to add certain classes and attendant numbers to the list
of titles in Section 3 and to change some rates set out in Section 3.1 of
said Resolution No. 58-281;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Section 3 of Resolution No.
58-281 is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 3: Allocation of Classes of Employment to Salary and Wage
Schedules. Classes of employment shall be allocated to salary and wage
schedules as follows:

~Any Patrolman assigned to duty on a two-wheeled motorcycle shall
receive extra compensation for any month during which the major portion of
his duty involves the riding of such motorcycle, and any Patrolman assigned
to duty as an Investigator shall receive extra compensation for any month in
which the major portion of his duty has been so assigned. The extra compensation
in each case shall be. in addition to the regular scheduled pay, the sum of
thirty-five dollars ($35.00) per month.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That Section 3.1 of Resolution No. 58-281 is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 3.1: Part-Time an_~d Temporary Rate~: Part-time and temporary
employees under the following class titles shall receive wages based on the
rates set opposite the class title:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That all other Resolutions amending Sections
3 and 3.1 of the Resolution No. 58-281 are declared to be superseded, rescinded
and repealed by this Resolution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this Resolution shall take effect as of
the 1st day of September, 1967.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at
its regular meeting held on the 5th day of September, 1967.
