WHICH THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERkTION
WHEREAS, IRA D. ARMSTRONG and RUTH B. ARMSTRONG, husband
and wife, as joint tenants, have executed a deed dated October 28,
1967, conveying to the City of Santa Ana an easement for underground
water main, and electrical conduit and drain line on the southeast
corner of West Reservoir Site, in consideration of the sum of
$230.00; said transaction to be handled through Escrow No. 874947-HRB
with First American Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana,
California; and
WHEREAS, PHILLIP L. GREATHEAD and LEONA N. GREATHEAD,
husband and wife, have executed a deed dated October 17, 1967,
conveying to the City of Santa Ana an easement for drainage purposes
on the west side of Grand Avenue, south of Edinger Avenue, in
consideration of the sum of $1,360; said transaction to be handled
in conjunction with Escrow No. 55205-B with Security Title Insurance
Company in conformity with the terms of that agreement executed
by and amongst the City of Santa Ana, Divco-Wayne Industries, Inc.,
a Delaware corporation, and Phillip L. and Leona N. Greathead;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign any escrow instructions that may be required;
that the City of Santa Ana accepts said deeds; and Carl J. Thornton,
the City's designated agent is directed to place his Certificate
of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of November, 1967.
