CALIFOP~NIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY FOR
WHICH THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH
CONSIDERATION OF $118,000.00
WPIEP~EAS, CALIFORiqIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, a corporation,
has executed a deed dated October 3, 1967, conveying to the City
of Santa Ana certain real property on the east side of Ross Street
and the north side of Fifth Street and an easement for ingress and
egress on the north side of Fifth Street, for which the City is
paying a cash consideration of $118,000.00; said transaction is to
be handled through Escrow No. 457260 RB with Title Insurance and
Trust Company, Santa Ana, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deed, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of February, 1968.

the Council of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing Resolution
